Meet Cyprian Akamnonu, DDS

A Dallas native, Dr. Cyp is proud to have planted roots in the Mesquite community. Before becoming a dentist, he spent six years as a registered nurse—an experience that shaped his compassionate, patient-first approach to care.

Dr. Cyp is passionate about making high-quality dentistry comfortable and affordable for the entire family. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and root canal therapy.

Giving back is also close to his heart. Dr. Cyp especially enjoys helping children and has volunteered with dental outreach programs, including Texas Mission of Mercy.

When he isn’t caring for patients, you’ll likely find him working out at the gym or enjoying a bike ride around White Rock Lake.
